The School House Gallery provides a unique location for a wide variety of TV/Film settings. A Grade II listed Edwardian building originally built as a school house, its interior is wonderfully light and airy, with high windows and tall ceilings. Carefully landscaped, terraced gardens skirted by York’s medieval walls also offer ideal opportunities for exterior photography.
Single storey, built 1913, designed by Walter Brierley (the ‘Lutyens of the North’), tall casement windows, red brickwork and pantile roof.
